What are Essential Oils?
Essential oils are the life force of a plant. They are not the same as fatty oils like olive oil or grape seed oil. The molecules of an essential oil are very tiny and easily penetrate the skin and move quickly throughout the body. Extracted through careful steam distillation, resin tapping, and cold pressing, the purest essential oils are far more powerful than the botanicals from which they come. Essential Oils have enhanced lives for thousands of years, offering a variety of benefits from cosmetic and dietary purposes to spiritual and religious use.
